Seems its all about $$ by making you buy everything from their online network. Glad I have no need for this next gen shyt, yet.

I don't like being sold an unfinished console. These guys need to stop rushing the user experience just to ship out before the christmas period.

Buying a console as soon as it's released is retarded, you guys took a huge L as the guinea pigs of this next generation.

If everyone thought like that consoles would sell nothing at launch, would have problems building a install base and thus next gen games themselves would have problems being profitable due to a small base and no one buying the shyt. There is no "L" to be had when you know what you are getting into

This whole "early adopters are dumb" shyt is getting childish.

New consoles cut em some slack :ld:
How did so many basic features get lost in transition? How hard is it for them to make MP3 playing software and read a file they allow you to place on the HDD? how hard is it to make a avi player? suddenly a console with built in Bluetooth can't sync with a Bluetooth mic when I believe day 1 the PS3 could do that? Many of these were standard console features that just vanished.

Pretty obvious a lot these issues will be resolved through firmware updates, not a big deal

These features got glossed over because they are CLEARLY not high priority features and they needed to stabilize the IMPORTANT aspects of the OS before release.

Obviously they are worrying about the extra crap for later. If you don't like it sell it, your PS3 still wipes your ass for you.

You can buy into that if you want to. It was pretty clear Sony had no plans on even adding MP3 player capability to the PS4 until the community got up in arms over it and Yoshida ended up acknowledging it over Twitter. Then suddenly Yoshida and Tretton are backpedaling and talking about we'll add it it. You see Sony Music Unlimited was up and running day 1. The media functionality got stripped out to push their stores.

maybe :manny:

I don't doubt pushing their services had something to do with it.

I guess I just never watched 3D blu rays, don't have any music on cd's anymore, have no reason to stream over DLNA with so many other ways, and I also don't need to listen to music from my PS4 when I have so many other ways.

So it's hard for me to see the big deal when these features affect me in no way at all. Then again that's my opinion though, other people might use the shyt a lot. Im just in a bad mood :lolbron:

its not a big deal its just that you're paying $400-$500 for the future of console gaming and when these things hit the market from a certain standpoint they gotta play catch up to get back to the feature set that $200 boxes from 6-7 years ago have.

its like your school teacher lets you set up a date to turn in a report and you pick a date then when the due date comes you turn in a half done paper and tell the teacher i'll get you the rest later. these aren't new features. they're things we already had that we've now lost.
