PWMania.com reported that wrestling legend “The Crippler” Ray Stevens was being discussed for the 2015 WWE Hall of Fame. It was also reported that Stevens may be inducted by WWE Hall of Famer Pat Patterson, who was pushing for the local legend to be inducted in Santa Clara, California this year.

It looks like WWE is going forward with Stevens’ induction, according to PWInsider and Raj Giri of WrestlingINC. WWE recently started to put together material for the induction and he should be the next announcement, possibly on Monday’s RAW.

Good to see Ray Stevens get some exposure to younger or less informed fans. I loved watching those roundtables and hearing stories about him.
