people just naming names at this point.

bone thugs need a movie. theyre so far off from the industry that they wouldnt get a theater deal but that chit would be a money-maker and crazy.

hot boys and death row would be dope but no way an official one would go down. especially death row.

The rise and fall of dmx doesn't go with the hip-hop narrative. Earn all that success and now is strung out on crack, in and out of jails, wife losing home, etc. I am sure dmx wants people to forget those chapters of his life.

that is indeed the hip-hop narrative. the struggle.

its too early for a dmx flick anyway, but yea we're gonna need that 5-10 years from now.

Dipset the movie? :pachaha:

they were saying they were gonna do a movie a year or 2 ago.

Hammer a official one though

they better bring back ahmed johnson.

Or a movie about Nas and jay's beef and history would be ill imo

Not sure that would see a theatrical release though

I could see a Death Row movie.

What if Suge doesn't beat the case, needs some cash for the appeal and does a hypothetical tell all book like OJ :ohhh:

That's the only way I can see us getting the real story behind everything if it's a nothing to lose type of situation

Sean Price's story could be interesting, especially (and sadly) since his unexpected passing. I've been a BCC stan since day one and admittedly the amount of love he's recieved and admiration given surprised me. A biopic on him and those crazy Brooklyn Decepticon years could be interesting. A movie chronicling his wreckless youth, his Heltah Skeltah days, going on drugs with Rock and disappearing from the scene, becoming Muslim, enjoying a cult like following as a solo artist, until his untimely death could make for a good movie.

Guru's story could be interesting too. A kid from a middle class if not upper middle class background from Boston, earns the respect of Brooklyn heads during the 80's/90's and becomes a prominent emcee who's part of a legendary group that is Gang Starr. Gang Starr goes on hiatus and Guru works on and completes critically acclaimed Jazz infused albums. Both he and his band's experiences on the road and especially in Europe would make for good scenery. Not to mention addressing where Solar came from and the nature of his relationship with Guru. Then the movie would ultimately have to tackle the issues surrounding Guru's death.
