You don't know how much they paid or didn't pay. So how can you even say that?

I meant from the perspective of selling xbox ones (again in my opinion). The game sold almost 4 milli on the PCPS360 last year and about another 700k with the remaster.

I dunno how much they paid, but I'm wondering if this is timed.

But it was all good last gen when the roles were reversed at the beginning? MS earned their shytty rep based on last year's shenanigans and their weaker system.

They exposed their true colors last year so MS has no one to blame but themselves.

If y'all remember the first tomb raider was still considered a financial failure even though it sold 6 millions copies. This way they have more money backing them, and they won't have to worry so much about budget. Huge win for Xbox owners

SE wasn't happy with the initial sales of the game that sold several million. the budget was apparently ridiculous. That's why they re-released it on the new consoles so squeeze more money out of it. Microsoft steps in to partner with them for the sequel.
