Next year I want to get into investing

What and where should I start? And please break it down because I have no idea where to begin. I'm looking at taking say $200 a month and putting into something besides savings. I'm totally lost, are there courses i should take or books to read? Serious help will be dap + rep

I think you might be running into a market topping out here in the next year or two. But you should take a long term view (decades) and broadly diversify to capture the gains of world stock/bond markets. Vanguard index funds track whole countries and markets. I would recommend starting there and they're probably the lowest fees in the industry. A book called 'A random walk down wall street' gives you a pretty good set up for a portfolio (the book can be rather dry though).
