Nexus 4 and 6 were both ass. But that had more to do with build than anything for me. Not software. You forget they aren't all made by the same manufacturer either. This ain't iPhone breh... With that said. The new update has optimized marshmallow performance in a great way. Currently rocking. Nexus 5 and 6 until the 6P price drop in 6 months.What do you say Nexus 6 owners
Maybe for skinned phone users. I don't have update issues with the OS on nexus.

Also when you use the nexus brand name you have to meet requirements approved by Google. You seem caught up in brands vs tech and specs.
Most these companies using a similar combination of components from the same suppliers.
