60 days you say??? Any word on availability in the states?

Sony's newest set of next-generation phones, the Sony Xperia Z5 and Xperia Z5 Compact, will reportedly be available next month while the Z5 Premium is said to follow a month after.

Yibada noted that the Z5 is now available for pre-order in Hong Kong with the Z5 Compact already landing in some European countries.

It also added that the Compact which could be pegged around $600 will officially be released in October with it available for pre-order in countries like Germany, Spain, Italy, Sweden and Poland.

The Z5, on the other hand, is believed to carry an estimated $700 price tag and is also believed to be released along with the Compact.

A similar Digital Asia One report mentioned that the phones could have higher prices in Singapore and noted that the Premium is sure to come a month after the first two phones are released.

The trio of flagship phones was launched earlier at the IFA 2015 in Berlin, Germany.

With an 806-ppi display, the Z5 Premium is sure to be a sought-after phone for Sony fans though the Z5 will reportedly come with a 5.2-inch 1080p display and the Z5 Compact having a 4.6-inch 720p display.

Meanwhile, CNET said that all the released Z5 phones are equipped with a 23-megapixel camera, waterproof body and fingerprint scanner.

As for its other specifications, Engadget said that the all three phones share almost the same features. They are reportedly powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 processor, up to 32GB internal storage and a battery which can last for two days.

But the battery capacity also differ per phone as the Premium will have a 3,430mAh battery, the Z5 with a 2,900mAh and the Z5 Compact a 2,700mAh.

Another differentiating factor among the devices is their RAM with the Premium and Z5 sporting a 3GB RAM while the Z5 Compact only has 2GB.

According to a Sony blog, the phones will have an integrated fingerprint sensor power button "intuitive unlock."

"[The] sensor power button means each device is personal, protected and easily unlockable with a simple pick up and press in one natural movement," added the Sony blog. The phones are also waterproof and dustproof.

As for the colors, Sony Mobile said the Z5 Premium will be available in chrome, black and gold colours with a mirror effect on its back, giving users more options when it comes to the design of the phones.

Fans have great expectations for these phones as Sony promise that they will make a great difference in the mobile market.

if you can get it for under $300.. Then sure.

But that large screen real-estate feels underutilized

:patrice: So in yalls opinion do you think the 6p is a better choice right now instead of copping a note 4?.. All I really care about is performance and battery life.. I can deal with 64 gb storage but if I get the note 4 I was gonna put on of those zerolemon batteries in it

Battery life on Nexus phones are normally underhwelming. MKBHD hasn't commented on the battery life yet (obviously) but I'm putting faith in Google to up their battery management since there is less bloatware and Doze

I'd go for the 6P

:comeon: Other than lack of a stylus, How is that any different than what Apple is doing with the iPad Pro?

Breh the Surface is an actual computer. The iPad and Android tablets are largely toys, and this is coming from someone who has one.

:yeshrug:I actually agree. The iPad Pro & Pixel C should compared with The regular Surface 1 & Surface 2 which both used ARM chips & Windows RT (instead full Windows 8).
