He was always going to be a player that needed to sit a season or two and be developed by a patient staff if he was going to have a chance at being a successful NFL QB. It’s part of why he wasn’t a top of the draft guy.

He still needs to sit a year though.His accuracy when trying to throw a touch pass is awful
The only thing that worries me longterm is that hes not as fast as advertised and dude runs like a fukking RB
He doesn’t try to avoid contact at all but he’s slippery and doesn’t take flush hits like RG3 used to

It is too early to tell. I am rooting for him (except when he plays philly)
athletically- he exceeds any QB in the NFL. He has a really good arm...not as good as Vick but still very good. His accuracy is so so in intermediate throws ..I dont know how good his deep ball is.
He needs time to understand coverages and that comes from film study and experience. If he becomes a film junkie he may do very very well

Cam is still the best athlete playing the qb position
Ive watched all 3 preseason games and been to 2 practices and Lamar isnt as fast as people think he is
hes more quick than fast
im starting to think he didnt run the 40 because he knew he'd be in the 4.5 range
he definitely doesnt have 4.3 speed like he claimed

we are splitting hairs...I dont know if he is 4.3 but im fairly sure he isn't a 4.5 guy. ok, maybe Cam is more athletic but you get my point..he is at the upper echelon of athleticism for the position.
