brehs, real talk who is upset at player taunting and showboating?

Players dont say shyt about it in the media because they deal with it on the field

Its usually these crusty ass TV announcers and other assorted media members.

This is something that I will never understand why people get upset over.

You know who. We all know who. :comeon:

It never bothers me unless it's happening against my team, but that Golden Tate taunt kinda rubbed me the wrong way for whatever reason. I wanted so bad for him to get pushed out at the 1 yard line or for the TD to be called back. :heh:

That would have been called back in college right? Don't they take away TD's for taunting and diving into the endzone and shyt? :snoop:

Nobody gives a fukk. Coaches care because of the penalties associated with it and ex-players in the booth care because now that they're part of media they know they're "supposed" to care. The media members are little geeks that never played past the third grade who have created this romanticized, idealistic version of athletics and being "a good sport". Same jackasses will hypocritically fondly reminisce when players weren't so "buddy buddy" and had genuine dislike for each other. Goodell has his back against the wall with the legit concussion issue the league is facing, but by trying to adopt rules of etiquette/decorum that were never part of the sport in the first place(unspoken or otherwise), he's going to alienate a lot of people that still love the sport despite it being a very different on field product than they grew up with.

Its lightweight annoying esp if its a player you already don't like, but it aint that serious.
