Alshon came into the league with questions about his play. Let's stop making things out to be a jets mistake only thing
I thought alshon was going to suck after watching his college tape :manny:
with that said, hill was a pick that didnt really fit the jets at the time.

Im sure user Born2BKing is ALWAYS right in football and in life in general. he's probably a scout for an NFL team or a millionaire :patrice:

campbell was supposed to be dalton's backup but he got hurt again I think
That dude stay getting hurt. He could have had a chance as a stopgap starter if he didn't always get hurt.

Exactly.

Thanks
you dont need to know the 'possible alternatives' or other crap involved to see when someone is a bad fit.

a project WR who doesnt have anything substantial but measurables is a bad fit for a team that started sliding defense-wise and had limited offensive options

a best bet for that player is a team that isnt under a lot of pressure or one who can afford grooming him behind good/great WRs

Jets fit neither of those criteria. they had tons of pressure even though they weren't that good anymore and the offense was struggling

just my two cents :manny:

you're welcome

Every players a project in the NFL until they succeed. Bottomline, you admit you had no clue what the jets needed, so why get long winded on this pretend to know teams I don't follow need? Too much sports talk on the world where people admit they don't know yet talk like they do.

Just stop fronting like you did know while saying you don't. It's corny

Just stop.
I know what they didnt need- a WR with measurables and nothing else behind him

and no, Im specifically referring to project players.
stop with the 'every prospect is a project' garbage, which is simply not true

there are NFL-ready players and there are projects. stephen hill was a fukking project with mediocre college stats. in fact stephen hill had the worst college numbers out of ANY WRs drafted in first 2 rounds of that draft

the only reason he went that high was because of measurables.

there are very limited number of NFL teams who can afford a project like hill that high, and jets were definitely not one of them

The jets needed a wide receiver two years ago. The jets chose the wrong one. Yet you claim you don't know while knowing.

Let's end pretend sports talk today
