geting excited over some nikka who's probably younger than you getting drafted to make millions of dollars while you probably wont see half his 1st contract in 10 years makes NO damn sense to me

With your reasoning, we should never be excited over sports. They all make more than we ever will

I aint got no problem enjoying the game but my thing is when nikkas start living vicariously through some damn sports franchise talking bout "we" going to playoffs or the finals or whatever, i'm like nikka you going to work at 8 in the morning, they going to the club in the vip whether they win or lose.

This draft has no buzz because there are no "can't miss" QBs or playmakers on offense. No true dominant defensive player. If you think about it, Barkley and Landry would have been the talk of the draft if they didn't fall off. If Clowney and Marquis Lee were Juniors and could leave early, it would have some buzz. But you just never know who is going to be the next great player. Some of the best players in the league went 2nd round or worst.

i love that theres no scripted top 3 picks, the depth and unpredictability of this draft makes it great. yea you'd wish there were more impact QB's and RB's, but thats just not what it is this year

the big uglies gettin love :ohlawd:

I cant speak for anyone else but sports teams represent the neighborhoods im from, there is a sense of pride. You can devalue any entertainment in life if you try hard enough. Why pay to see a fictional movie? Were just giving actors millions of dollars for us to live vicariously through their acting right? Entertainment is entertainment, dont over think it bruh.

i'm a big football fan, just dont root for pro teams whether nfl/nba. fav teams come from cff/cbb

but even if i was a huge fan of some team i wouldnt still be too excited over it.
i get that fans excited for who they team pick, but then that excitement wears off

this is a pretty common, canned response from people who bet on games to watch sports.

your opinion doesn't matter so just KIM

REAL TALK.

sport teams SHOULD represent the area you're from. I STILL do not understand how cats can claim to be fans of teams they have never seen live or are from the opposite side of the country other than that team being a dominant team when they were at a young, impressionable age.

aka fairweather bandwagon fans

Im a OAK fan but im from NY/SC :manny:. For me it was the first team i was ever introduced 2 when i was a younging staying in Queens. My first football helmet was a raiders helmet. First jersey was silver and black....i really started following football again around 2001-2002. When i moved to SC i followed the panthers so i low key root for them in the NFC but Da Raiduz been my team since i i was playing freeze tag .
