the NFL draft is boring as hell to me. there is far too much time spent between picks. in the NBA, you have like 2 minutes between picks, so it moves much faster.
Damn near every black nfl fan was following last year cause a 5th round pick who had mad NIL money and was born with a diamond encrusted silver spoon in his mouth was getting drafted.
So idk breh.
Yea some people like the sob stories but my guess is that people tune in to see where the big names they’ve heard about all season go. Regardless of if it’s a millionaires kid or a Michael Oher.
So you admit that buzz from college drives people’s interest in the draft? You can't use sheduer as the example because we all saw the Colorado hype train and black people rallied behind him because of the obvious racism.

Many black players faced racism, they said Lamar was a running back, ghetto, not a leader and all types of shyt. People in general don’t care about the get rich aspects like that for top players. If that was the case we’d care more about late rounders.
No, I’m not. I’m saying that they were not poor.So you're pretending the coach prime Colorado hype train didn't factor into sheduer and Travis hunters actual hype?
No, I’m not. I’m saying that they were not poor.
Do you think more people checked in for homeless Jimmy Butler than Kyrie?
Maybe you just care more about the pocket watching. But I’ve never heard of that to be a big reason. Rather I’ve heard people shytting on ESPN for always bringing up that black players had no fathers and shyt, like they’re some non-profit saviors
I don’t know what you are arguing about. You said people going from broke to rich was what attracted people. Ie watching how their pockets change aka pocket watching. Now you are saying what I’m saying, there was no hype for the players.Pocket watching who? I don't care. The average person doesn't care because NIL hurt the college star. Jumping from school to school every year for NFL type money doesn't build your status.
Besides Mendoza who everyone knew was going #1, who had any real hype or excitement behind them to go anywhere?

“ Nobody tuning in to see millionaires become mega-millionaires.”
And as far as I know college ball is thriving and so is fantasy football. So while I don’t love players transferring like Harden, the players are still getting major hype as their NIL money shows.
