Its a weak excuse.

Also the "Well what about RG3?" is another weak excuse. They do similar things but are two totally different QBs.

RG3 is a deep ball/play action QB.

Colin is a more of an intermediate thrower, who also throws very well on the run in roll outs situations.
rg3 i can understand he's unreliable he gets injured every year his career is done u cant trust him out there for multiple weeks

TYRONE GA!
Breer: 4 execs debunk Kaepernick blackball theory
Also here is Doug Gottlieb talking about how Kaep doesn't fit as a backup in the NFL

Said Colin's not cerebral enough to help get the starter ready.
Here's the thing about that and to what the executives said. There's a difference from from seeing it and performing it on the field vs. doing it in the class room. Colin has been known as a very smart guy. Even if he doesn't read defenses as fast as the best QBs doesn't mean he can't help out guys on the sideline or in QB meetings.

Its a weak excuse.

that whole pocket passer shyt is trash. tons of guys in the league are pocket passers that fukkin suck.

the whole zone read thing is bullshyt too. NFL QBs are also taught to look for a certain read and if it's not there go through your checkdown. It's the same damn principle. Zone Read is used the same as "running QB" even though most quarterbacks are injured in pocket (numbers ain't close either).

The Original Rec Room Gang
:mjlol:

Is it April fools?

Brandon Weeden, Colt McCoy, chase Daniels, AJ McCarron , Chad Henne, Kellen Moore, trecone Boykin, Matt Schaub, Derek Anderson, Conor cook, Geno Smith, Landry Jones, Sean Mannion, EJ Manuel, Paxton lynch, Scott Tolzien, tj Yates, Ryan mallet, Matt Cassel, case Keenum, Matt Barkley, drew Stanton, Ryan Fitzpatrick, Jake rudock, Kevin Hogan, Blaine Gabbert

Please tell me with a straight face that these guys are better than Colin Kaepernick
Colt McCoy is probably better than Kirk Cousins, is perfect for the system gruden is running. But if they were to compete elsewhere I'd go with Kap
