Well yeah that's an easy thing to say. I'll the field over the Vikings! Lmao. I'm just saying I'm not too worried because we don't play in a tough division. The only good team is Minnesota. Packers/Lions are average and the Bears are rebuilding dumpster. It's not really fair

Don't get me wrong, Minnesota was trash from 2010-2013. But ever since Mike Zimmer and Rick Spielman came together it's been painfully obvious who the better team/organization has been the last few years. They've built a better roster and despite the Packers having a "HOF" QB, they still can't compete with us.
Even after losing Bridgewater and Peterson, we're still on pace to win the NFC North. Its amazing really. I dont know why that gets you upset though.. worry more about the Lions and less about us. Nothing wrong with being a wild card playoff team( if you even get that far)

Zimmer inherited the worst defense in the league when he came here in 2014. He lost the franchise player in Adrian Peterson and had to start a rookie QB in Bridgewater, and we went 7-9. It was very impressive given what he had to work with.
I'm not first half anything. I'm just saying what is painfully obvious to literally everyone (even other GB fans know this). Packers aren't in our league at all

Hindsight is what it is, but I've even saying this since the big 3 (Stafford/Suh/Megatron) were still together.
The biggest regret the Lions may end up having is not trading Calvin for picks before 2015. During that stretch in 2014, Stafford showed that he played more productively without him on the field, and if we'd had a chance to keep that pass-rush together, who knows where this team would be now.
Now you've got Stafford playing at a level that could get him into the MVP conversation if the Lions were to somehow steal the division, but nothing to show for Suh & Calvin walking.
I said this going into this year. There's an Ewing Theory thing going on with Stafford. When Calvin was on the field he felt the need to force it to him no matter what. Now we're seeing Stafford's true ability and growth as a QB.
