I didn't went to a game in two years. I feel so comfortable in my own house or a bar getting wasted why risked it for a for two hundred dollars more. College football in person >>> NFL games
College Football live is the shyt.. but those commercial breaks/time outs suck just like the pros. You're in the stands geeked up and all of a sudden a timeout occurs and you're wondering "who called a timeout, what's the holdup?" then you finally find out its a tv timeout and you're like :snoop:

NFL Also Has The Worst Licensing With Channels and Etc.

I Only Get Games on Fox and CBS And only 1 Channel Has A Doubleheader :deadrose:

You get 3 games on Sunday, 1 on Monday, and 1 on Thursday. So you get to see almost a 3rd of the league every week. Seeing the Heak/Lakers/Celtics/Bulls twice a week during the NBA season is better?

while nothing beats the feeling of going to an nfl game,
there are a lot of things that beat going to an NFL game. Im probably the only one that says this, but its the worst fan experience of all the major sports.

College football in person >>> NFL games

even though I think football is a bad spectator sport, this x100

Games are shorter (because of the low commercial breaks). There is always some entertainment either from the band or student section. Chants happen. Its a much better experience.

You dont have ESPN? Thats still 4 games a week. Starting this year they are rotating the teams that play on Thursday so a lot of the games will be good. I only see 2 games on the below schedule that would be considered awful.

NFL Network's 2012 "Thursday Night Football" schedule

Week 2: Thursday, Sept. 13 at 8 p.m. ET
Chicago Bears at Green Bay Packers

Week 3: Thursday, Sept. 20 at 8 p.m. ET
New York Giants at Carolina Panthers

Week 4: Thursday, Sept. 27 at 8 p.m. ET
Cleveland Browns at Baltimore Ravens

Week 5: Thursday, Oct. 4 at 8 p.m. ET
Arizona Cardinals at St. Louis Rams

Week 6: Thursday, Oct. 11 at 8 p.m. ET
Pittsburgh Steelers at Tennessee Titans

Week 7: Thursday, Oct. 18 at 8 p.m. ET
Seattle Seahawks at San Francisco 49ers

Week 8: Thursday, Oct. 25 at 8 p.m. ET
Tampa Bay Buccaneers at Minnesota Vikings

Week 9: Thursday, Nov. 1 at 8 p.m. ET
Kansas City Chiefs at San Diego Chargers

Week 10: Thursday, Nov. 8 at 8 p.m. ET
Indianapolis Colts at Jacksonville Jaguars

Week 11: Thursday, Nov. 15 at 8 p.m. ET
Miami Dolphins at Buffalo Bills

Week 13: Thursday, Nov. 29 at 8 p.m. ET
New Orleans Saints at Atlanta Falcons

Week 14: Thursday, Dec. 6 at 8 p.m. ET
Denver Broncos at Oakland Raiders

depends where you sit. The upper deck sucks....lower level is worth it if you can get the tix.

Upper deck seats I turn down all the time even if they're free.

ive actually had more fun in the upper levels than lower levels when i have gone to games. NFL games are just too long and the stoppages are too much.

off TV or not a nationally televised game, they can end in under or slightly over 3 hours.

More than that, there is always something going on organically at a college game.

and them prices are completely nuts when your team is good.

checked preseason tix prices and its 60-100 bucks for decent seats against vikings :wtf: its fukking preseason

I went to a Lions preseason game a couple years ago like 1 season after the 0-16 and it was fukkin 66$ for a preseason game for once of the shyttiest team in the league. I was thinking who the hell is payin these prices

the new meadowlands you're far away and the fans are less into the games....

fan enthusiasm was like that at the old stadium too....ppl get pissed when you stand up on a 3rd down and such. It sucks.

Clearly you arent a fan of the game then, no point in trying to convice you otherwise.

Not necessarily.

Most of those games are good team vs. below average team.

Who (besides local fans) wants to see the Titans get ganked by the Steelers on a night game when folks have to work the next day?

Now, Steelers/Ravens or Patriots/Jets? That's more like it.

But Monday Night Football is on it's death bed anyway. The only thing that can save it is if CBS or Fox gets the Monday night contract. Good luck with that.

These greedy fakkit owners and Goodell need a harsh reality check. 40% drop in PSL sales (which are the REAL reasons why prices aren't lower). They feel that pinch, and those ticket prices will drop like a rock.
