Arizona would not have been in... this is about seeding only. I'm not going to complain though. The niners struggled at the beginning of the season because of injuries and off-field issues among other things and that's something that every team has to deal with. If the niners lose because it's -5 in Green Bay and they can't move the ball... so be it.

AFC
#1 Broncos (Bye)
#2 Patriots (Bye)
#3 Bengals would host #6 Chargers
#4 Colts would host #5 Chiefs

NFC
#1 Seahawks (Bye)
#2 Panthers (Bye)
#3 49ers would host #6 Packers
#4 Saints would host #5 Eagles
So tell me sir, do you prefer what you posted? Or no division and straight 1 to 6 seeding per conference?

im for the change, even tho my team is hosting a squad with a better record this weekend.

saints and panthers were playing for the 2 seed and the 5 seed in the last week of the season, if you win 11-12 games you should be hosting imo

I don't really have a problem with it staying that way it is. It does get a bit absurd when an 8-7-1 team gets to host a 12-4 team though. If they were to go ahead with this change, I would prefer to keep the divisions, as it keeps the parity. One of the best things the NFL has done in a while is make every week 17 game a divisional game.
