Far too much interpretation of rules.
Part of it is the NFL's fault. They change or add rules damn near every offseason and they dont really have fulltime refs.
Both games today were greatly affected by bad calls or non calls. And a lot of games are affected each year that decide playoff berths and seeding. shyt has to change.
