I doubt we take him I hope we don't take him we don't need him right now. If we had another pick in the 1st or a wnd rounder I'd be for it and think it'd be a legit possibility but we got bigger problems imo than a back up QB. Plus SP loves Tay tha Truth even though he got him out there on special teams :pachaha:

Brees is not getting any younger, and this could be the season he finally falls off. :mjcry:

We could use the transition from Brees to Jackson like the Packers did from :smugfavre: to Rodgers.

Enough with all of these "project quarterbacks" like Garrett Grayson, Ryan Griffin, and Taysom Hill. :camby:

Man if we went 7-9 last year I'd whole heartedly agree with you but we might be able to steal a playoff run and win it all. It'd be better to fill those immediate needs and worry about a successor later. Drafting a qb 1st round does us 0 good this year.

:ehh: I can see your point, but the thing is, this is a midterm-year season coming up, which means we face the AFC North, whom we seem to match up terribly against. :huhldup:

Brees has NEVER beaten the Ravens, and no matter how awful they are, the expansion Browns have ALWAYS been a thorn in our side. :damn: Hell, look who their first win as an expansion team in 1999 was against. :mjcry:

Also, the Bengals tend to give us problems when we face them as well. :francis:

Sidenote: We somehow fare well against the Steelers, though. :patrice:

And usually, the Funboys :dame: take the NFC South during even-numbered seasons. :scusthov:
