Patriots trying to sign Mccarron:ehh:that would actually be better for him get to sit behind Tom for another year or two then take his spot instead of going to a shyt team and not having much of a chance to succeed

Over The Cap says they have 3 mill in cap space

They fukked by not working out a longterm deal with Demarcus Lawrence before free agency started

That 17 mill franchise tag took most of their space

You guys could save 7 mill by cutting Witten and 8.5 mill by trading or cutting Dez
Some players I wouldn't mind Dallas getting. But most of the contracts going out yesterday were disturbing. No way Dallas is paying Hitchens more than Lee. That's what the Chiefs did.

The problem with Dallas over the years is giving out bad contracts and having to deal with dead money. They will be fine in 2019 because Romo's money comes off the books. But that doesn't help us in 2018. Signing Zack Martin actually opens up cap space as well as a release by Scandrick and the other moves you just named. I also dislike the Crawford contract. I don't think Dez is leaving no matter what but I do feel this will be his last year in Dallas unless he has a 2014 type year. After this season, he will have one year left on his contract. Witten, I can see in April if they can find a suitable replacement. He should be gone as it is. Dallas holds onto players way to long. But they still approach the cap differently than they did in the late 2000s and early 2010s and that's because Stephen has pretty much took over the cap.

Dead money from older contracts...

Don't forget they also still need to sign Zach Martin...arguably the best offensive lineman in the league...which means he is going to end up close to or the highest paid player at his position....

Good point on Martin. Martin will be the highest paid guard in the league no doubt about that. Or at least he will be asking too. And he probably should be.

No. I wanted them out to confirm that they were trash, but at least he woulda had an excuse to say “I’m not working with anything” instead of parading Fitzpatrick and McCown saying “they give me the best chance to win.”

Regardless, we all knew the talent sucked but it’s Bowles’ coaching that’s a problem. He’s not coaching bad because of the talent. He’s coaching bad because he’s not good at it. That defense is his baby and the defense ain’t shyt.

again, this is ridiculous

do you really expect of modern day head coach to do a press conference : interview... telling the media that his two young quarterbacks aren’t ready to play, extremely behind schedule, can’t read the playbook, etc... that could be detrimental to their future and more less it would put that head coach and the GM at odds ( basically confirming that that GM get a terrible job in picking those players) so you damn right he had a say in every of his press conference or interview that Fitzpatrick or McCown gives him / the team “the best chance to win”

you are sounding like the typical Joe and Evan caller who sits behind his TV at 1 o’clock on Sunday and no matter what the result, gonna find a way to blame the head coach

Bowles sucks. Period. End of story. Awful game management. Horrible time clock management. Conservative to a fault. Trusts his horrible defense. He's like the worst parts of Herm and Rex meshed together.
