That's because those people are fukking idiots who don't know what they're talking about. This is from the Jets thread last season.

You have to be all time bad and unlucky to go 0-16. McCown will get hurt but when he does play the offense will be better than you'd imagine. The defense looks much faster than last year but the safeties are very young and inexperienced and they still don't have a pass rusher.

Don't get me wrong, the Jets are gonna be locked in to a high draft pick. I think best case scenario they go 6-10, worst case 1-15. I'm calling a 4-12 season with wins @ Buffalo, Jacksonville, @ Cleveland and Los Angeles

Granted Reese and Ross aren’t here anymore, but the Giants have had some of the worst drafting, in terms of roster building, going lately.

It’s entirely possible they fukk up this #2 pick, no matter who they take.

Eli gets rid of the ball faster than Brady at this point. Self preservation and how completely fukked his internal clock is have led to only Carr getting it out faster than he does by PFF’s numbers.

Besides, Eli isn’t really the main concern anymore. They have to start building an OL so the next QB (whoever that will be) don’t have to go through it before he even really begins.
