As a Browns fan, when someone talks about NFL parity, I be like "hold a pair of these"
NFL parity doesn't mean much, if you're a fan of a perennial loser.

Only one team can make the SB, but two teams make the AFC title game. One team just made their 5th straight and nobodies shocked about it. It was expected. Just like The chiefs and bengals are basically gonna be expected to next year, until they have to decide between paying burrow and keeping that talent. Either way, they still povablt won’t bottom out and can be a perennial playoff Appearing team. You know what, you’re right. Maybe I’m wrong. Next year AFC title game is gonna be Dolphins vs Browns.
You can’t tell me anything. I watched Tom Brady run our division longer than any NBA dynasty in my lifetime.

That’s not parity. If so, hella NBA teams won their first titles in the last 25yrs or so.

Was I wrong? Other than burrow missing the playoffs. It was dejavu this year. Dejavu storylines. “Will Jackson or Allen finally land the hook on Mahomes?”My whining is backed up by facts and history. All these potential HoF QBs, health will sort them out, per usual. But at the end of the day, it’s shaping to look like the 00s AFC when it was the Brady, Roethlisburger, Manning show. You speak from the perspective a fan who’s team doesn’t have to do the QB shuffle every year. It’s nice that you got burrow, but that kinda proves my point. Of course you’re happy go lucky. I’d be preaching all sorts of “cheer up bucko, everyone has a chance” shyt too.
As long as you have a franchise QB you can consistently morph your team around, you’ll always be in the hunt. Wild card bottom feeders will rotate from team to team, but the divisional leaders will always dominate the playoffs.

the dream going. A perennial AFC title game appearance ceiling is good enough for some I see.
Y’all will be on the same radio call-in shows next year complaining about how the league is rigged next year when Mahomes packs y’all up again. My parity or lack their of observations were asinine, but all I’ve been hearing are “rigged” cries from billsmafia.
Not rigged at all, Mahomes is the best QB in the league and outplayed Allen on the biggest stage yet again.
Hoping next year is different, but who knows?

If you combine all time talent with coaching, you can win forever uninterrupted in the NFL. Just because a new dynasty can rise like a phoenix, doesn't mean that's parity. The warriors and heat became dynasties after years of "fun teams" and semi finals ceilings for the former, and years of getting ousted in the 1st round by the latter. It wasn't "parity" when GS or Miami started getting to finals every year.

Literally. NFL is more popular now than ever. No one but ppl living Miami cares if Miami has a shot. They want drama, qb legacy talk, parlays, and someone to root against.

Theres parity because your team can be in the hunt for the majority of the season. Especially when your in a shytty conference. Which is why NFL will probably never just put the beat teams with the best records in the playoffs. That would potentially create more parity as far as winning titles. But its better for the league to have those fans of barely above .500 teams actively engaged for the majority of the season. In the NBA when your team has a horrible record early,its easier to check out and assume they will be garbage. Just come back if they manage to climb in the seeding after the next 20-30 games
