Whats crazy is that man for man, nfl players are more educated and intelligent than other sports. Yet they continue to sign off on idiotic collective bargaining deals

NFL contracts pale in comparison to other sports. People get caught up in the total dollars but the only thing that matters is the guaranteed money which usually isn't a lot. And some players like Kap have language in their deal that allows the team to cut him in the offseason and not have to pay him the rest of the deal. As a Panthers fan I honestly want Cam on something like that, so team friendly and disadvantageous to the player it's not even funny.

The ironic thing is that the NFL's popularity hurts players from getting more money. The teams aren't dependent on a star player to draw so theres no desperation to overpay players.
