cfl players, most dont even make 6 figures, many live in cities during the season with high rent costs and are taxed all over. Yet still have to deal with the injuries of playing football, a crappy non existent pension and have to go back home in the offseason and work at a gym just to make it

MLB is also the only sport where you get drafted and you might NOT get paid...

You got to go through double and triple A just to make it to the level that you can actually make millions...

I know a dude who shuffled between doubla a and triple a for 3 years and didn't even make 40k a year playing...

You also have to have a ton of "service time" to even enter free agency in baseball...

If you get selected in the nba draft...you a millionaire guranteed off your first contract...go in the 1st or 2nd round in the nfl draft...same thing...you could get drafted in the top 10 in baseball, never make it past triple A and not even make 100k...

My math is correct. 9B x 53 players at 52% should be a 3.6M avg per player
