as much as i love football,i told my kids to concentrate on soccer. That shyt is the best sport to play in and the atmosphere is phenomenal. Plus u get to leave this country and go to Euro spots and eat off them bytches


and unless you're Ronaldo or Messi, u can come back to the US,rich as fukk and not have to worry about people bothering you for pictures and autographs (most of the time atleast)

That was always my dream. Live in one of the best cities in the world (Barcelona, London, Paris, Milan, etc..) and come back to the USA and live a normal life. Clint Dempsey has it made. Make millions and then come live like a normal guy. Plus represent your country in the greatest sporting event in the world (World Cup.)

The ironic thing is that the NFL's popularity hurts players from getting more money. The teams aren't dependent on a star player to draw so theres no desperation to overpay players.

when they would advertise say 49ers vs Lions they would put Kap vs Megatron (not stafford).

The league has stars but its not star-driven. There's 8 games a year in each stadium and its a league known for parody. The teams will draw attendance and ratings because the format of the league allows for people to set their time around game day. Star players are a bonus in the NFL but they don't drive the league. The format does.

not true. MLB actually give the players only around 40% of revenue while The NFL give players 47%.
