They are still racking up billions. The fight isn't here.

White people, plenty black people, brown, etc., still watch. Cops still killing us at alarming rates, that damn tax plan is a bytch coming to wash black folks out.

The president out chea telling us black employment is now at the same level it was in the 70's when black people were making big strides post-Civil Rights and before mass incarceration and crack hit us...even after the economy collapse.

We are in trouble and smaller ratings does not change that.

Blacks don’t have to rely on sports and entertainment to become successful as much as in the past. Athletes realize they can get in and get out and still live successful productive lives following their true passion. Technology is changing a lot of shyt out here, and those who are employed at these stadiums will be facing labor force issues due to AI and Robtics anyway.

I think what some of us is missing is the loss of desire to follow these things, are being replaced by activism and education of more important issues in the black community. Losing money may not be a issue for owners, but the loss of interest and blind loyalty of future generations will be. Kids have technology and other tools to empower them to not rely on old social norms. shyts changing for the better, I promise you.

And I'm sure if they were playing each other ratings for that game would have been pretty good. No one wants to watch Bortles, Keenum, Foles. Protests is part of it but the matchups suck.
