And I'm sure if they were playing each other ratings for that game would have been pretty good. No one wants to watch Bortles, Keenum, Foles. Protests is part of it but the matchups suck.

They play in two different conferences.. Why would they have played each other in the playoffs?

You mean....like...the Super Bowl? :stopitslime:

It's pretty simple. big market team with big fanbase vs big market team with big fanbase = ratings.

Superbowl always gets huge numbers..

I never said anything about big markets not bringing in ratings

Your comment was pointless and I misread what you typed

I think what some of us is missing is the loss of desire to follow these things, are being replaced by activism and education of more important issues in the black community. Losing money may not be a issue for owners, but the loss of interest and blind loyalty of future generations will be. Kids have technology and other tools to empower them to not rely on old social norms. shyts changing for the better, I promise you.

That's idealist and a bit naive.

Jerry Jones isn't a billionaire because people changed their minds off something and started watching football.

My point is; there's not as many boycotting as we'd like to believe and that people are replacing NFL watching with activism. I'd like to think that, but, I have no proof.

What I've seen is; BLM was a proven fraud for the LGBT community and feminism to come up off black male death and black people still want to be rich more than receive justice.

It leaves me with a "Wait, I thought we was going to :lupe::dwillhuh:" when you thought the boycott would change things.

You have black people rallying aroung Puff Daddy to buy a team like 1) That's even possible (money and him getting the okay) 2) That's gonna be something for black people to rally around

MJ owns the Hornets :beli:what has that done for the black community in Charlotte? North Carolina? The South?

Check this;

U.N. officials touring rural Alabama are shocked at the level of poverty and environmental degradation

I'm just frustrated...

My point is these kids aren’t as ingrained with sports like in the past, and I believe viewship has a lot to do with that, and in the black community it’s probaly a lot more prevalent that what’s believed. Those of us that are socially conscious, are giving kids more constructive alternatives to shyt like the NFL, and based on what I’m personally seeing and experiencing subtlest changes are occurring.
