QB is the one position that isn't plug n' play. Familiarity with the systems is extremely important. This is why you almost never see trades for starting QB's during the season or even during preseason. It takes forever to pick up the playbook. So there's a reason why the same QB's get brought in. The reason why "mediocre" QB's get deals is because it's very difficult to find even a marginal QB. You lose your starting QB, it's a wrap. You lose your DT, CB, RB, etc, you can still win.
