:what::what::what: Devonta not a speedster???
Just speaking to what has been repeated in this thread. I don't know what he is as far as the league goes, but I will say I don't think what makes him impressive is his speed, at all. Shiftiness, change of direction, route running, that's all valued far higher than his speed

Not game breaking speed. His route running and shiftiness is top notch though.

https://alabama.rivals.com/news/nfl...vonta-smith-s-potential-in-the-2021-nfl-draft

My sources at Alabama expect him to run the 40-yard dash in the low 4.5s, with the potential to sneak into the high 4.4s," Jeremiah said.
Eh I’m not buying this tbh, seen him burn so many nikkas who run 4.3-4.4

he’s clearly faster than Jamarr Chase who “ran” a 4.38 at his pro day

I think Smitty in a combine setting runs sub 4.3

plenty of small receivers got in done. this kid is damn near identical to Marvin Harrison
This dude is the cleanest route runner Ive seen in college for a long time.
I hope he beasts. But that 166 is a concern. Thats my first few months at OU weight playing receiver. I was killing dbs regularly until they had enough of hearing that shyt in film room and started hammering me up at the LOS like
