@28 he could just pick up blocking schemes and option routes out of said schemes?

Bron would never be a good blocker, he would be a flex TE in the vain of Ahern and Jimmy.

can the nikka READ? This is your reasoning for him not being able to succeed at being a TE in the NFL...if he can pickup blocking schemes and option routes? playbook shyt?

c'mon son..you think a 28 year old freak of nature who has been playing sports all his life..comprehending and understanding plays and playbooks all his life couldn't do the same in the NFL? A man that is dedicated to perfecting his craft every summer?

cool

and wtf does his age have to do with shyt? you acting like we talking bout a nikka favre age coming into the league..

Name the 28 year olds who have never played football since HS to come into the NFL and Balled?

So a precedent must be set in order for you to fathom that idea? There is ample proof of NBA/NCAABB caliber players already in the NFL, that should be enough. Now you could question his football IQ,however, based on physicality and the fact that he is already an elite athlete has some merit.

Can he catch though??? I mean, catching passes from NFL QBs with arm strength that can break your fingers.

And if you haven't been hit for real you can't imagine what that feels like. You can try to describe it, but you just don't know until you feel it. Getting the wind knocked out of you 3-5 times a game isn't fun. It takes a special kind of masochist to play football at a high level. Some hits in football are basically car crashes in pads. Literally.

what does him being 28 years old have to do with anything ?

would your opinion be different if he was 23 ?

if so, what difference do you see athletically between a 23 years old & 28 years old Lebron ? Cause I imagine your premise is as a 28 years old he couldn't keep up physically, right ?

At 23 he would have the 2 years to learn which would make him 25. At 28 and 2 years to learn would make him 30. there is a huge difference between 25 and 30.

And just so we get tho straight, you are the one who pointed out the 2 years..

that's what I'm saying, after 2 years of playing football, dude was putting up GOAT TE numbers

All I am saying there is no way in hell, bron is putting up GOAT numbers at 28 or 30 for that matter.

I don't see how catching the ball would be a problem. Hand eye coordination from a basketball player is usually on an another level than football players

5'8 guys rely on completely different skill sets and have leverage which actually keeps them safe. A hit to the ribs on a 6'1 guys is a hit to the shoulder pads to a 5'8 guy, giving him a greater chance to break a tackle.

I don't think y'all understand the physics involved in playing the game that goes along with athleticism. He's too tall. I'd put him at DE honestly.
:what: He's only an inch taller than Graham and Gronk.

instead of posting a smiley...explain to me how someone who has been an athlete their whole life....one that read and comprehended many different playbooks...who is also smart as fukk on the court and a freak of nature wouldn't be able to pick up blocking schemes and option routes from those schemes?

he wouldnt need to pick up blocking schemes, like is aid tony gonzalez doesn't block. many teams like the dalls cowboys run two tight end sets

Again to question his football IQ is one thing, to suggest physical limitations that he couldn't excel in the NFL is absurd.

Motherfukker dudes who have played football there whole life can not pick up different systems. Jesus christ, some dudes can roll in the West coast system, then once they come to a Erhardt-Perkins system are fukking lost. Ya just b/c you're a freak of nature does not mean you will be able to pick up different system of offence..
