Dak’s issue is his accuracy is really really bad. It looks like he’s regressed completely this season. It’s so bad that any passes beyond 15 yards are almost always uncatchable. The sad part is this isn’t defensive pressure or schemes causing this, he was inaccurate in camp.

I think he’s realized he can’t complete those so he just doesn’t even try it anymore. If they plan on keeping Dak they need to invest in big WRs and TEs that are easy to throw to. They don’t necessarily have to be open, just be big targets.

All these shifty slot guys that require timing and accuracy just doesn’t work for him.

What's the point of changing so much of your offense to fit a guy who's not that good? If you're willing to do all that you might as well just start over and draft a new qb.

You’re 1000% correct. But this is the cowboys...I wouldn’t be surprised if they gave him a big contract extension. In that case they would need to make the offense fit his skillset or lack of skillset
