Watson is single-handedly getting Bill O'Brien an extension. He finally gets the QB he's been looking for in the very last year of his contract, after having been dealt Fiztpatrick, Mallett, Keenum, Weeden, TJ Yates, and Brock. In the latter two Watson games, his play-calling actually looks like an NFL offense. It's amazing what he can do with a QB that has pedigree, athletic ability, and a very high ceiling.

O'Brien raved about Watson (including actually meeting him, unlike Brock who he never met until Smith and McNair dumped him in his lap). The NFL shows time and time again, you don't want to be the team everyone thinks is the best in week 4-5. There's always teams that peak early and they can't sustain it. They might look the best now, but I'd be willing to bet 3 or 4 teams will make runs down the stretch of the season and head into the playoffs on a high

I believe the same thing... but thats usually true when the team comes from outta no where and is the best team early in that season...
The Chiefs have been building up this team for a min.. They were stuck battling behind peyton and that broncos defense for a couple years. And those games between the chiefs and broncos were always competitive. Ppl thought the Raiders were going to make waves this year, but they're defense is diarrhea...
