I haven't seen many Saints games, but I know they keep losing. Has Brees regressed a lot, or does the rest of the team just suck that bad, or a combination? It's just hard to fathom a team with a top 5 QB losing so much

The problem is that Brees has regressed to the point that he cannot just go out and win a game by himself...the days of "throw it 48 times Brees and win the game for us" are over...dude has become a bit skittish under pressure...

Problem is Drew doesn't seem to know that...Peyton doesn't seem to know that...the fans DO seem to know that but what can they do...he brought them their only superbowl...

They don't start running the ball more and get a new DC they going to be picking in the top 10 damn near every year...

Normally I'd agree with you. I'm not a fan of Matthew Ryan at all, I think he's just a good middle of the pack QB.....that said his Offensive line has been a COMPLETE MESS (and it seemingly gets worse every week with these injuries) for this season and last season. I can't fault him at all for the lack of success these past 2 years, although his contract probably does deserve some of the blame. They also haven't had a 100 yard rusher in 36 games. Football games aren't won with offensive skill players (which ATL has plenty of) they're won in the trenches.

Well the way they set that team up was to be an elite passing team there for they payed Matt Ryan like he was an elite QB. Their running game was never a priority. I think their GM coming from New England thought Matt Ryan had Tom Brady like credentials and unfortunately it just hasn't panned out that way.

I think Brees's contract handicapped that team. Not saying he doesn't deserve it, but he always benefited from having playmakers around him and what we are seeing is the effects of when playmakers make a QB look better than he is as suppose to the QB making playmakers what they are. Darren Sproles was like 30% of that offense and they could't afford to keep him.

There's a difference between running game not being a priority and not having a run game. Not having a 100 yard running back for THIRTY SIX straight games is absurd.

Matt Ryan had a solid o-line prior to this season and last and he still was good at times but mostly average and cant do shyt with a stack offense playing indoors nine games out of the year. Similar to Jay Cutler

I agree, but yeah his line has been awful these last 2 seasons.
