It's the head hunting culture that most coaches promote from a young age.

there's this show "Friday Night Tykes" that focuses on youth football, during a championship game a female coach was on film telling her players she'll pay whoever injures the opposing teams star player. we aren't that far removed from an actual NFL defensive coordinator being found guilty of putting bounties on opposing players.

Seattle's a perfect example of proper form and technique still being an achievable goal, Pete Carroll being so far ahead of everyone else with that rugby approach is a shame.
i know bro
it's a religion
this how we spend our sabbath

these motherfukkers will fight for their faith

helmets should be a insurance policy
cause you right nikkas will slip here and there
but they can change the tackling technique

put your face in a nikka pads¿
that shyt sounds dumb as fukk for real for real

So now I’m wrong when saying you’re taught to have your head up, face through body when making a tackle?

Really?

The thing I’ve realized when having these discussions is that many of you really don’t know football.

Answer my questions bro. Act like you and Marian Barber are the only ones who’ve seen a head drop and discovered the stiff arm. :mjlol:
i said of course you will miss your target from time to time

but if you aren't leading with your fukking head bet it will happen a lot less

no you don't

Look at Pete Carroll and his disciples who adopted that rugby tackle approach. Kam and Earl lay out people every week, never dirty. Neal destroys someone every week, always proper form and technique.

It's about enforcing proper form to protect yourself and others, something most coaches at all levels fail miserably at.
Those niqqas still delivering head shots man.

Hell outta here.

Point is, face mask through offensive player IS tackling with your head up. You said it sounded stupid.

Point is, you tackle head up, the crown of your helmet gets involved in the tackle at times and looks like a targeted hit.

i didn't say you were wrong
i know that's how defenders are taught
but does that make it the smartest way to go¿

Here is an example of a clean hit viewed as malicious.

Face mask through chest. Point is, the size of the helmet comes into play and it’s crown gets involved. All of a sudden, we go into an episode of law and order and slow motion replay makes it seem deliberate.

Get rid of the helmets and we’ll see less of this.

no pads could you run full speed into somebody facefirst and be all gucci¿

i'm just saying the pads should only be insurance
the technique should be like if you were out there with no gear on

cats don't wanna let go of the bad intentions

Of course not. That’s the POINT. The equipment creates the environment to go face first.

Get rid of the helmet. You’re proving my point

he dipped his head and he left his feet
his intent was impact

i'm saying don't lead with your head and instead of launching yourself drive through the opposition with the intent on pushing them back

cats want the big hit they want that pain jahahahahaa
as soon as you leave your feet put your head down and close your eyes braced for impact you are now out of control and in the hands of fate

change is hard yeah but cteball is taking way more than it's giving to it's players and that shyt has to change or at least it should

you get what i'm saying¿

He put his face mask into his chest. That is a proper form tackle.

I get the CTE slander, but it ends if you get rid of the helmets. I know I used mines as a weapon to hurt people. All it did was get me into OU.

Get rid of the helmets. I wouldn’t have gone face first into someone’s ear hole if I didn’t have a helmet

You’re not making sense.

It’s the helmets that create these environments. You don’t see face/head first tackles in rugby.

knock it off

when the fukk do you see ANYBODY on Seattle get flagged for a headshot, or hurt themselves and an opposing player because they went head hunting ? they'll get 10 flags a game for PI and trying to stretch the limit as far as they can go holding receivers, but their tackling form and technique is light years ahead of everyone else.
