He put his face mask into his chest. That is a proper form tackle.

I get the CTE slander, but it ends if you get rid of the helmets. I know I used mines as a weapon to hurt people. All it did was get me into OU.

Get rid of the helmets. I wouldn’t have gone face first into someone’s ear hole if I didn’t have a helmet
i understand what you're saying
equipment has it's place though
even if you take the pads off cats will slip up moving at high speeds like i said gear is insurance

if a player leads with his head penalize that
teach players not to lead with any part of the head

if you came up all your life being coached different you wouldn't of been using your head as a battering ram jahahahahaa that's with or without a helmet

knock it off

when the fukk do you see ANYBODY on Seattle get flagged for a headshot, or hurt themselves and an opposing player because they went head hunting ? they'll get 10 flags a game for PI and trying to stretch the limit as far as they can go holding receivers, but their tackling form and technique is light years ahead of everyone else.

That’s every play??

You’re not making sense.

It’s the helmets that create these environments. You don’t see face/head first tackles in rugby.
rugby players aren't taught to hit the way football players are

they could strap up in full gridiron armor but they'd play the same way they were trained to

you don't have to take the pads off to change the way players are educated and wired to play

that's an example of what they do on a weekly basis, stop arguing for the sake of arguing.

helmets ain't the issue, bozo head hunting culture is.
Again...that’s every play?

You really going to YouTube cherry pick your way through proof?

Helmets are the issue

and even here it could be better
instead of going for impact he could aim to drive through the opposition and reverse the momentum

its not as violent but it is more effective it's about yards gained and lost you don't get points for hits
it'll be hard to shift the culture though

You ever watched rugby bruh ? The reason there arent alot of big hits and injuries is cuz you have almost zero blind side hits, everything comes in front of you where you can see it...I just dont see helmets being legislated out of football ever,it wont be similar to rugby without helmets...

You dont see head tackles in rugby cuz theyre illegal but that has less to do with why they dont have injuries, its the nature of the game, plus there isnt the speed and ferocity of contact that there is in the NFL...

also when rugby players make contact you see them driving through they don't necessarily go for impact

Zero blind hits at are a separate issue. That’s where the games differ. As far as head/face first tackles, it’s not a part of rugby.

I'm going there to give you an example of what they do week in and week out. The same way I "Cherry picked" those hits, go and find some where anyone on that squad hurts themself or others being wreckless.

you can't, because they're the gold standard on the front of proper form and technique.

so much so that the league itself is promoting that video. stop spewing that garbage about the helmets, and acknowledge that shythead coaches are at fault.

Exactly you see very few big open field hits, most of it is close range bump and run stuff with multiple players involved....not a good reference to use for no helmets in football...

Lol at multiple players involved. Football has more spacing and is much more specialized. No way can you expect more multiple player tackles if not running the ball.

At no point do rugby players have their backs to the ball like football players are forced to.
