There are no great defenses because of the rules. Rbs are devalued and teams now can't run on short yard situations anymore.
It's basically arena league football with teams throwing 50 times a game and wr's going near 300 yard

newton has to sacrifice his body day in and day out.
hes the passing / running offense basically.
the only reason panthers have good rushing numbers over the past years is cause of inflation by cam but the media and certain people like to act like he not the single biggest part of this team.
