doesn't matter how much talent they have when andy dalton is still their QB...dude can play competently during the season but come playoffs when teams turn it up, dude can't step his game up at all. he's good enough to get you to the playoffs but not good enough to lead you to victory or even game manage and caretake a W...trent dilfer looks at his super bowl ring and then looks at dalton and is like :mjlol:

and to add to add a random thought to the thread, i can't believe how terrible the eagles and colts offense both look right now. it's crazy how unwatchable both of them are on offense, shyt is literally offensive to watch...i think that pagano gets fired if the colts are under .500 by mid-season and kelly is gone if the eagles don't make the playoffs.
I don't put last year on Andy. He had literally nobody to throw to. The squad just feels different this year. Our young players are playing with swag. Pacman is getting absolutely no coverage except negative coverage, but he's playing like a top 5 CB and Dre Kirkpatrick might be better. This is the secondary who have up the last TDs in the league last year. They did that with no help from their last place in sacks front 7. Geno Atkins is healthy this year and literally unblockable in the interior. Just pay attention to him if you ever watch one of Our games. Its unreal.

Our only weakness is linebacker. Once Dawson adjusts to the pro game and Vontaze returns from PUP, you've got one of the best defenses in the league. We probably have the best offensive line in the league. If Andy gets time, he picks people apart. Andre Smith made Khalil Mack his bytch...but nobody talked about it. If Jeremy Hill is having a bad day, oh look, Gio can give you 120 yards like it ain't nothing. The addition of Eifert makes our weapons seriously scary because he's already an elite tight end to Any one whose watched him play. He has IT.

I know it's "still the Bengals" but I wouldn't be surprised if we went far this year. Marvin knows it's his ass. Hue wants to be a head coach again yesterday. Andy knows after this season his contract is essentially year to year. There's just a sense of urgency that I've never seen from a Marvin Lewis coached team.

That's 3 great route running rookies all in succession: Keenan Allen, OBJ, Amari Cooper. They're really on some advanced level shyt coming into the league.
