McCoy was playing not to lose just running up the middle and letting an inaccurate kicker try and win the game instead of letting Rosen throw.

For the people who are just seeing the the boxscore, don't let the stats fool you, Rosen had a great game for his first start. Most reliable player on offense already. The kid was letting it fly and didn't make too many mistakes. Very impressive for his first start. Unfortunately the receivers didn't give him much help with the dropped passes.
