That JJ Watts is still the best defensive player in the NFL.

Matt Schaub has gotten away with being a one read qb all of his career, playing with a team that masked his limitations.

The Bengals are looking like they'll be the new Texans (a QB that's decent/good, but can't take you over the hump to the next step)

Jimmy Graham is going to :eat: good this offseason with a big contract

Rodgers always had a bad O-line & no running game, so that's no excuse for Eli playing bad w/ the WRs he has

Coach of the Week
Adam Gase, offensive coordinator, Denver. For the smooth transition from Mike McCoy at offensive coordinator and offensive playcaller, for being able to bond quickly with a quarterback who clearly respects him (Peyton Manning), and for piloting an offense that’s putting up 46 points a game through five weeks.

Peter King's MMQB is still terrible

I think Matt Schaub is regressing, but the play calling & offensive scheme on the Texans is just as :flabbynsick: as Schaub is. The entire passing attack is reliant on the play action bootleg. The Texans pretty much only call run plays and play action bootlegs to Owen Daniels/Andre Johnson. They drafted DeAndre Hopkins to stretch the field but they haven't even bothered doing it. Their offense is stuck in first gear.

Naw dog.....Schaub doesn't scan the field. I noticed that watching him live last season. You take away that first read and he gets stuck either forcing the or gets all jittery and gets sacked or throws the ball away.

He's not that good.

Bear's defense can't stop anybody. And when Alshon Jeffrey has big games we don't win. A lot of his yards are meaningless yards. When Marshall has big games we win more.

I agree that Schaub isn't good, but their play calling/offense is just as bad. They're dead set on these 10 yard play action passes. Kubiak's offense needs to be revamped.

A Gmen to a Jags fan, now I understand your grief:deadrose:

Everytime Romo throws a pick, an angel gets a wing:blessed:

When the weather's bad, the Golden Boy won't get his hair wet:skip:

Chiefs 5-0 is not the same as the Broncos/Saints 5-0:stopitslime:

dolphins line isnt close to worse line in the league. its just the ratio of sacks compared to total pressures is abnormally high. it looks like they're worse than they really are
its not jsut sacks though, its the horible rushing.
They can't make any lanes. they can't hol them on the pass rush. they are horrible

3/5's of that line aren't evening NFL caliber right now

Dolphins will cruise to another 7-9 record if they dont do SOMETHING about that O-Line. Or teach Tannehill's dumb ass some pocket awareness. Dude seriously needs to take advantage of that WR speed and size more.

Saints > Broncos

Also Ponder prolly gonna lose his job for a bit
pocket awareness??

I see dudes complaining about tannehill alot, but if the defenders are getting to him before he even completes his 5 step drop, then what are you supposed to do?

how can you take advantage of wr speed if you don't have ANY time to let the route develop?

If I'm the Texans I would look to move Andre Johnson. This sounds silly as he is clearly their best receiver but they need youth and draft picks for next year, imo. Dude is declining.
The Texans have a good defense but they will be an 8-8 team this year.

It's funny how reactionary some of you Coli cat's are everyone is dikkriding Andrew Luck and shytting on Russel Wilson and RG3. Like I said when Luck was drafted, I think he will have the best overall career over RG3 and Wilson it's already coming to fruition.

The Giants need to change their approach in every way possible, next year they need new blood from a coaching standpoint. Maybe go after Roman from the 49ers as a new head coach.

The Chiefs are the most well balance team in football. The defense and special teams was always excellent. Now Andy Reid is installing his offense and Alex Smith executing it very well.

Game managing is a dirty word but it is more crucial than people realize, the first job of a QB is to protect the ball.

Tony Romo is a top 10 QB and Dez Bryant is a top 5 receiver.

Jacksonville can't catch a break

Honey Badger is a monster

The 49ers are back on track

Cam Newton is still a very good QB but he needs to grow up quick

The Dolphins should have paid Jake Long, not having him changes the climate of the whole O Line. They need to draft whatever top linemen are available next year too, Only Mike Pouncy and Jonathan Martin are any good.
