Statistically Big Ben and Matt Ryan are up there in the top QBs in terms of sack% but they don't pass the eye test. I've always never saw Ben as someone who can break down a defense, I feel he takes a lot of chances and gets away with it because of his size and arm. Ryan it feels like every other throw he does is a 50/50 ball but he's always had great weapons to go get them.

nice list! And agree. Especially on Ben... it’s funny though cause when you look at this list, it’s small in terms of teams and the 20 year window... further more proof that teams need to invest in lines... lol. I’d spend my money on a line and just get a competent QB who serviceable cause Brady ain’t walking thru that door lol. Give me the Ravens with Dilfer lol

The Patriots aren't world beaters, but I don't see how people can be calling Belichick a fraud right now. They went toe to toe against two 5-1 teams with powerful offenses, while having a rookie QB start. If anything, that should give the Patriots a lot of optimism

This. Nobody has blown us out the water and we have been competitive enough. We clearly need Oline and WR help, but QB wise so far Mac is doing a good job considering.

And let's not forget that they looked so bad last year that they had to spend the most money they have ever spent in free agency, just to be able to compete this year. They might not be a playoff team this year but they are maybe a piece or two away from being a wild card team next year.

Patriots didn't go toe to toe with the cowboys, the refs gift wrapped you over 100 yards worth of penalties and flat out took a touchdown off the board from the cowboys. If it wasn't for the refs the pat start the 4th quarter down at least two scores.

The only optimism for pats fans is that the jets and dolphins are still trash so that should be 4 wins every year. Pats just need to win 5 non jets and dolphins games a year to probably make the playoffs
