Chiefs defense is much better than Texans D last year.
texans had 44 sacks entire year last season
chiefs have 31 sacks in 6 games

putting it in perspective, denver and st louis led the league last year with 52 sacks

now those 10 sacks on pryor obviously helped, but the chiefs pass rush is insane. that defense is legit. the only thing that can be bothering with the d is maybe the run D is abnormally bad statistics-wise... but it will regress back to at least decent imo

what I mean is they dont look bad against the run at all, even though they statistically arent good against it. most of bigger runs against them came on mobile qb runs and instances where a long bullshyt shovel pass is considered run. its skewed in that sense. their pass d looks very good and that pass rush is absolutely amazing.

nah I cant buy the analogy at all. texans were never this defensively sound last year. we gotta wait for the bronco games but I think this chiefs D is the best Ive seen in football since 2011.
