The dynasty Patriots and 05 Steelers weren't powerhouses? The Chargers weren't loaded with Pro Bowl talent on both sides of the ball?

I'm fully aware that Peyton has played subpar in the postseason. My contention here is the 2013 AFC is asscheeks and I don't see any of these teams being as good as the aforementioned teams or beating Denver in the playoffs.

Every team that beat the Colts had an elite front 7 and hit Manning and disrupted him (the Ravens didn't shut him down last year, they outscored him... don't see that happening this year). The Pats, Jets, Chargers, and Steelers all hit him. Which AFC team is doing that this year, and doing it enough to shut down that offense and all their weapons, and score enough on offense to win? I don't see that team.

no, they werent powerhouses...the pats just punked the colts and got physical with them...the 05 steelers, powerhouse? the same team that needed the refs to win the bowl against sea?...please, the colts gave them the game...and fukk the chargers...they always had talent, but didn't win shyt...they were a bunch of punk bytches...learned that the year lt won mvp, but he and shawn lights out acted like bytches when the pats beat him in diego; lt also acted like a bytch when rivers was leading the team...fukk them....but I digress...when it comes to the colts, they gave them games too...

every team that beat the colts just got physical with them...they hit them and threw off the timing of those routes, which makes peyton go dumb...and the only way you outscore manning is if he fukks up/goes dumb...look at the shyt he does on the reg...this year and for a while in ind, he plays the qb position the best I've seen it played...but for some reason, it doesn't carry to the postseason...all he has to do in the playoffs is the same shyt he does in the reg season, but he tends to not do that...that's why i'm not sold on the broncos going to the bowl this year...we've seen this shyt before...as for teams that can bea them: chiefs & pats: have enough defense and run games.....chargers & ravens: would be able to score enough points to get lucky...colts: run the type of offense that would take the ball from peyton; and when he does have it, he'd 'rush', not cause he wanted to, cause he had to...

chiefs, phins, texans and maybe even bengals have thatpotential on defense. on offense all of them have question marks, but these are teams with very good defenses that can pressure QB well AND cover
You CAN'T cover the Broncos. With Peyton's arm and accuracy, big fast athletic Demaryius on the outside, Welker in the slot, Julius Thomas in the seam, and Eric Decker too, the only thing you hope for is to hit Manning.

None of those teams you mentioned has a pass rush that really scares anybody except the Texans and the Chiefs. The Texans with Kubiak and Schaub are chokers. The Chiefs I don't think are a legitimate contender. They're winning now because they're dominating the turnover margin. When they come across a team a good team like the Broncos or Patriots who isn't going to give them the ball and let Alex Smith game manage his way to victory, they'll lose.

I would be shocked if they don't cakewalk through the AFC. They might lose the SB. But the AFC is mediocre.

there is no such thing as "can't cover" in football. there is "hard to cover" and that can be dealt with

phins pass rush is actually quite good, cam wake is a beast and dion jordan is a future star

shyt even browns defense can actually give denver some resistance.

as far as offenses, none of these teams offenses look terribly good now, but things can and will change, plus in playoffs its a different game all the time.

we've been through this before. dont get too caught up with the offense-heavy teams hype. especially since they havent beaten anyone good yet, and especially with an elder manning in the playoffs.

Learned that Mike Tomlin, based on that press conference, is feeling the pressure. He looked like he was on the verge of blankin' at that presser.

Strong assertion. Might be true tho. But who else could Philly get that fits that offense?
that nikka had the stare of a crackhead :russ: (somebody should get that as a smiley)

NEW ERA
shyt, I don't know about that, Denver's running rough shot through their schedule. They might cruise into the super bowl
In my opinion that'll be their downfall. Will they be battle tested enough come playoff time? They have one of the easiest schedules in the league this year and we all know how sawft Manning-led offenses are. Once they face real defenses in the 'offs, they'll probably fold, specifically Manning.
