They aren't MVP QBs that's the difference.......

That accelerates the timeline and puts pressure on him to have postseason success whether people or The Coli want to admit or not. Succeed breeds expectations and accelerates timelines and we talk about it in other sports all the time.

you would think this didnt have to be explained

Ok but Lamar Jackson is a limited passer.

We can agree on that correct?
Naw, Peyton was playin wit far more talent than Lamar

Peyton had a true X and Y, Lamar doesn’t, hense why throws outside the #s are limited in the offense, there’s no outside threat

The only thing I see and it’s not just a Lamar thing, is that Baltimore need to figure out what to do when they get down while in the playoffs. It seems to me that you’re probably going to win if you go up 14 on the Ravens. I have no problem with Lamar at all and he’s been great but it’s curtains out here if he’s losing. Maybe this year will be better

Kurt Warner disagrees, he did a good breakdown on why the current offensive scheme in Baltimore leaves a lot to be desired in it's passing concepts and why it's way more of an issue than Lamar. Good food for thought from a Hall Of Famer.

I don't see what the big hooplah is about. I get the sensitivity, but he didn't say anything out of line. Lamar's outside the number accuracy is spotty, which is important if he wants to be firmly entrenched in that Mahomes Rodgers Brady tier - right now he is like 6th, behind them and Allen and Watson.

He's still good, and a great number 1 receiver can mask the issue. It's just a weak spot that if he can improve on, he'll be elite :yeshrug:
