I would be more comfortable with that...but which one? Ellington the most talented but can't stay healthy, cj2k a stop gap, and David johnson hasn't been a lead back/broke 1000 yds yet.

A major part for an HB is pass protection, and many HB's are subpar. WR's need to block, but the importance of them blocking is less important than an HB's ability too.

When a team is down, an HB's impact is minimized as they will just be catching passes out of the backfield where a defense can contain them on check-downs or will be blocking. A WR can make an impact when his team is down or up as they can run shorter routes, which are just as effective, if not more effective than running the ball.

Personally, I'm not taking any HB over the elite WR's in the league.:manny:.

I'd take Bell over any receiver in the league :yeshrug:
