It's to hard just to put 4 on it cause of so many great contributors over the years that helped revolutionize the game. You would have to do an offensive and defensive MT. Rushmore to even make it somewhat fair. And if you put Rice Brown Montana Sanders on their then that would still leave guys like Emmitt Manning Brady Sweetness etc. left out in the cold. And if on the defensive side you put White LT Prime Time and Butkus that would still leave cats like Lott Bruce Smith Deacon Jones etc. on the outside looking in.

Too many people made huge contributions to the game as players, coaches, owners, and as executives. Maybe a Mount Rushmore among positions and a Mount Rushmore of coaches and of executives would be good though. Too many moving parts. Same reason I dislike the NFL MVP award. Literally every year since 1984 with the exception of Lawrence Taylor in 1986, it's been a running back or a quarterback every other season since, even though there's 10 other guys on he field at any given time.
This is impossible. Football just has too many players.
