I think the gas fees depend on the price of whatever coin they’re using
For example open sea uses ethereum and the gas fee is fraction of ethereum. Last time I checked the gas fee was like $90 but that was months ago when ethereum was only around $2000 now ethereum is almost $3500 so the gas fee went up.

it doesn't work exactly like domain names more like trading cards or art. but you can be the sole owner of it. Companies are taking part of though.
Louis vutton is selling NFT's and other companies are too.
you personally can't really create an NFT and sell it with a trademarked name because they can sue you
at least I think you can't
Right now people are creating cards, characters, and art as NFT's to make you the sole owner of that NFT
people are making bank because the items catch on
NBA Topshots, Crypto Kitties, Crypto penguins, there's a pet rock one too.
you can make a whole new ip and sell them as NFT's if you're creative enough.
or find a product you like and collect them

I’m from the OG NFT era crypto kitties all that shyt

So essentially blockchain is an immutable ledger meaning that once something is in that ledger it can’t be manipulated or changed in any way

So an NFT is a token (piece of data) in that ledger that can be used to show ownership of something. Like imagine if there was a reference book at a store or some shyt that showed who bought and owns a particular item.

It’s pretty much clout because all it signifies is that somewhere it was agreed upon that a particular person is in ownership of something,

People have been buying and selling dumb shyt like crypto kitties for a few years now. All crypto kitties are some dumb ass cartoon kittens listed on the blockchain attached with its own currency.

So in essence anything that someone wanna claims ownership of can be sold and bought through with an NFT. Commonly it’s been art and I’m sure it’s attached to money laundering for people who made too much money on crypto currencies and need a way to move money around.

props i have been trying to absorb as much info as possible because i am not in the crypto game but to have an NFT you have to be up on blockchain and well i have a few pieces if you are interested in going 50% on the product.

ie. over 300 portrait and stocked digital illustrations i am setting up for the spoof podcast but these cartoon can sell as NFTs especially if we attached some beats to them and get them metaverse steady. what you think, we can build?
