I ain't even mad, I thought they were gonna finish 12th before the season started.
Bergevin has gotta toughen up the team for next year though, they are way too soft and easy to play against.

That's besides the point, though. I didn't think we'd play this well, but why not make some moves and make a run for the cup when you're 2nd in the conference? This is on him IMO.
As far as toughening up. This organization no matter the GM can;'t seem to ice a tough team. I don't fukking get it. We got 3 guys under 5'8 in the top 3..and our bigger guys are on the soft side...while Moen forgot that he was signed to fight and play physical.

im a leaf fan i watch nearly every game, but i havent been to a game in years as i refuse to pay these outrageous prices.

The lack of toughness has frustrated me for the last 15 years, around the time they traded Donald Brashear for some useless bum who's name I can't even remember.
I was really hoping that Bergy would pick up Ryane Clowe, he's the kind of power forward we've needed for quite a while now. 6'4 232 pound goon Matt Kassian was on waivers twice this year and the Habs didn't do anything.
If we meet the Leafs in the postseason, our boys had better have the ice packs ready.
Leafs, Caps, Rangers, Isles, Bruins....over in 4 or 5 games.
Nah, Montreal always seems to beat us, Torts prehistoric dump and chase nonsense gets destroyed by quick skating teams such as the Canadiens

Bergy is going to toughen up the team, I ain't worry about that... He's from the Chicago organization, so he knows what it takes...
That's just his first year as a GM and he has to repair the mistakes of the horrible Bob Gainey administration.
