NHL is so much more watchable in person than it is on TV, compared to the NBA and watching it at the bar. Also Canadian teams are responsible for the majority of the games being sold out. Canadians and Leafs are like the Yankees and Red soxs of the NHL except without the actual winning

I grew up in Vancouver they are bandwagon. When I was younger missing the playoffs my mom would get us tickets for cheap. No joke I got back in the locker room claiming to be Kevin Weeks brother. So I'm not going to put them in the same league as original 6 Canadian teams. That riot though was one of the most insane nights of my life, never seen anything like it.

There are lots of real fans but most can not afford tickets its all business men who take clients and other casual fans. There are a lot of people who get heated though saw someone try and stab a bruins fan. The diversity of women in this city is insane and they are generally open minded to all men .
