In 2020, the average TV rating was at 1.2 in the United States.

I didn't even know it was hittin like this tbh. It look like 2020 is an anomaly and the average yearly is 2.5 to 3 range.

Even NBA went from 8.8 in 2019 to 4 in 2020.

I think like wrestling fans the average sportsfan needs the game to feel big. Basketball in a small building was hard to watch for most.i think most fans need the pageantry to go along with the substance. There's a reason why the Gleague and smaller wrestling federations are not popin in the mainstream.
