I'm looking for a decent hotel around March. The boutique hotels around South Beach look alright, but I don't really trust the reviews on various booking sites. Seems people are overly negative and nitpicky about things. But I trust the Coli reviews :win: I'm looking to spend anywhere around $300 a night for a single room.

Where do ya'll suggest?

Decatur where its greater
Before I moved down here I usually stayed at boutique hotel. I have stayed at Chelsea Hotel and Hotel Shelley. Both were nice, however that was about 4 years ago but I'm sure they've kept them up.

If you're looking to stay directly on Ocean, The Breakwater has been recently renovated but it might be right at the top of your price range. There's also two Marriott hotels one on 2nd and Ocean / 16th and Washington.

Now if you're branching out and thinking about staying off the beach that brings in many other options.

I stayed at the Miami Intercontinental in downtown a couple of years ago. It was pretty good and it was cheaper than $300 per night from what I remember.

I wasn't too crazy about the boutique hotels from what I saw online. But there is something about being able to walk to the beach or stumble home after partying. How did y'all get around? Cabs or rentals?

Cosign Breakwater.

I was leery staying there before I got there cause there's a lot of trash hotels on South Beach, but it really impressed me. Location is great, right on Ocean across from the Clevelander.

well you could use the money you save from not staying at s. beach and cab it

but if you insist on staying n S beach.... what part are you more interested... collins or like literally on the beach? If you're on collins you're prolly still gonna have to cab it breh.
