Cortez protected Floyd too an extent, but it was Hatton's own defensive lapses that ultimately cost him the fight. I mean a ref can't make a fighter jump head first into a counter.

I know. The ref let all the low blows, clinching, hitting on the breaks, hitting on the thighs, just go and deducted nothing throughout the fight. PLUS, Salido didnt make weight and weighed in on fight at 147 to Loma's 136
